Fantastic Beasts 2 trailer? Something massive is coming TOMORROW

Is it the first trailer, a title announcement or a hugely-anticipated look at Jude Law as Dumbledore?

A bewitching tweet arrived today by owl which said: “Wands at the ready. On November 16, 2018, the Fantastic Beasts story continues.”

But what can it possibly be?

The image showed two wands, with the Elder Wand on the left. Excited fans immediately suggested that the one on the right belongs to the series’ main villain, Grindewald, played by Johnny Depp.

The bewildering tweet simply added: “Check back tomorrow for more.”

After JK Rowling’s confirmation that her heroic wizard is gay, many fans are hoping this will be the moment we get to see the introduction of the first ever gay storyline into the Harry Potter movies, or any major franchise, for that matter.

This isn’t merely wishful thinking, since the author revealed the love affair between the two men is central to the entire saga.

Rowling said: “I always thought of Dumbledore as gay. Dumbledore fell in love with Grindelwald, and that that added to his horror when Grindelwald showed himself to be what he was.”

The fans seem very keen as these two typical responses show. One said: “I JUST WANNA SEE JUDE AS DUMBLEDORE THEYRE TEASING US SO MUCH OMG.”

Another replied in equally excited upper case: “THEY ARE! AND SAME JUDE AS DUMBLEDORE IS HONESTLY THE REASON I’M LIVING RIGHT NOW AHHHHH.”

The as-yet untitled sequel will be set in 1927, picking up a few months after Eddie Redmayne’s Newt Scamander helped capture the dark wizard Grindelwald.

The action will move from New York to London and Paris, as Newt teams up with his friend and old teacher Dumbledore to thwart Grindelwald once again.

The five-part film series will cover 19 years of wizarding history, Rowling has said, taking the story up to 1945 – the year that Dumbledore defeated Grindelwald.

Fantastic Beasts 2 is out on November 16, 2018.
