Fans are exploding with excitement at the social media reports coming out of China.
The entire Justice League cast were there for a major two-day promotonal event. Yes, that means even Henry Cavill, although he still hasn’t been seen on screen yet as Superman.
A 30-minute preview was shon to the ecstatic crowd and then played again, due to overwhelming demand.
A Chinese fan scored the scoop of the day when she posted exited tweets about a “green light” and then gave a stunning answer when she was asked if she was really saying what fans hoped.
WARNING POTENTIAL SPOILERS.
Twitter user Fiona Is All In tweeted: “Justice League earlier screening is over. All the people in the theatre went crazy… And there is a light of green, yes.”
When she was asked to clarify she gave the answer everone has been waiting for.
The short tweet simply said: “Green Lantern confirmed.”
This is absolutely major news if it is correct, although it does not clarify is this is teh expected first appearnce of Armie Hammer in the role, or a scene showing a different member of the Green Lantern Corps.
Either way, there have been mounting rumours that Warner Bros and DC have been holding back a Green Lantern appearance.
A recent Funko Pop toy line and a competition on Big Bang Theory have both seemed to point towards at least a cameo form the seventh main member of the League.
A fan on Reddit has also posted a leaked track listing for the upcoming Justice League soundtrack, which features a song called Unite The Seven by Imagine Dragons.
Fiona Is All In has also been giving thrilling praise to the footage screened so far.
In a series of breathless tweets she said: “A film worth waiting a person’s whole life for. So much better even than Wonder Woman.
“Marvel should be panicking. Cheering and applause everywhere.
“Visualy stunning, (the) theatre had to play the footage twice. (People are) crying.”
