PUBG DOWN – Server issues hit Battlegrounds AGAIN with ‘too many logins’ error

PUBG is down again today with fans reporting receiving a “too many logins” or “too many users” error message when trying to play Battlegrounds online.

The latest PUBG server status does not make for good reading with fans reporting the battle royale online shooter is not working again.

The server issues appear to be hitting fans after a brand new update was implemented earlier today.

The patch was meant to fix a number of bugs and implement some gameplay fixes, but soon afterwards fans reported seeing Connection Closed errors.

It’s the latest in a long line of PUBG down reports that have hit the popular online shooter recently.

According to Down Detector, there were PUBG down reports each day between September 27 and October 3.

One fan tweeted: “pubg servers are down again???”

While another added: “pubg servers down today?”

And one tweeted: “PUBG server sucks”.

The server errors could have something to do with the latest update, which has just gone live on PC.

Connection Closed error messages have been popping up for some PUBG fans who have patched their game, although it’s unclear what’s causing the issues.

The new PUBG update decreases the starting item spawn levels in order to adjust the item balance on the Northeast side of Erangel.

It also fixes various bugs and glitches, including a spectator issue and a bizarre bug in which you can’t hold a main weapon and frying pan.

In addition to fixing bugs and glitches, Bluehole is also handing out bans left, right and centre.

More than 320k players have been banned from PUBG since release, and upwards of 20k received bans in just one day over the weekend.

“Over 322,000 cheaters have been banned from PUBG so far, more than twice as many as posted by @PLAYERUNKNOWN just a month ago,” reads a BattlEye tweet.

“We are currently banning at a rate of 6K-13K per day, nearly 20K within the last 24 hours alone. The vast majority is from China.”
