Melania Trump, 47, often wears python skin shoes made by high-end designers including Manolo Blanik and Christian Louboutin.
The Slovenian former-model was harshly criticised for wearing the shoes to visit Texas with her husband Donald Trump, 72, after the state was devastated by Hurricane Harvey.
On Tuesday Melania wore python skin shoes from the French shoe designer Christian Louboutin to board a plane at a military base near Washington.
Melania was visiting Lily’s Place, the nation’s first nonprofit infant recovery centre that also provides services to parents and families dealing with addiction and notably opioid addiction.
On her feet were the So Kate Python Kaa shoes from Louboutin, which retail at $1,115.89 or £845.
On September 3, Melania stepped out with her husband after visiting church in Washington to pray for the people affected by Hurricane Harvey.
She wore a pale pink dress and powder blue coat, with matching python shoes in a pastel-hued pixel print.
These shoes are also from Louboutin, and are the Pigalle Follies 120 printed python pumps. They cost $1,295, or £865.
The shoes which kicked off a barrage of criticism from those who claimed Melania’s heel habit was insensitive were the sky-high shoes she wore to initially visit the victims of Hurricane Harvey on August 29.
She the Manolo Blahnik BB 115 python pumps, which cost $1,495, or £1,132.08.
A few days later on September 2, in a show of defiance, Melania wore another pair of Manolo python heels.
She donned the B Snakeskin 90mm Point-Toe Pump in a beige python skin, which has sold out online, but retails in the region of $1400, or £1,060.14.
This means since August 29 Melania has worn $5,305 or £4017.17 worth of python skin shoes.
Python is a very expensive material for fashion fans. A Fendi python back on Net-a-Porter will cost you $8,300 or £6,285.12. A black Victoria Beckham python tote bag costs $2,795 or £2,116.49 and python slippers from Gianvito Rossi will set shoppers back $1,045, or £791.32.
Melania’s handbag collection is worth a huge sum of money. Her bags are worth tens of thousands of pounds. Some of the First Lady’s bags are worth around £15,000.
