The Slovenian former-model was harshly criticised for wearing the shoes to visit Texas with her husband Donald Trump, 72, after the state was devastated by Hurricane Harvey.
On Tuesday Melania wore python skin shoes from the French shoe designer Christian Louboutin to board a plane at a military base near Washington.
Melania was visiting Lily’s Place, the nation’s first nonprofit infant recovery centre that also provides services to parents and families dealing with addiction and notably opioid addiction.
