Man City £359m Messi bid

05:30: Manchester City are reportedly prepared to break the bank in order to sign Lionel Messi should he opt against completing the signature of a new deal at Barcelona.

Barcelona chiefs have maintained they are not concerned about Messi’s situation, despite his current deal expiring at the end of the season.

However, Spanish outlet Marca claim Manchester City are ready to pounce and have already held talks with Messi’s representatives.

Al-Khelaifi is said to be ‘committed to the signing’ of Coutinho and are prepared to match any bid Barcelona make.

Arsenal battle with Inter

03:30: Arsenal will go head-to-head to sign Atlanta United star Miguel Almiron.

The Paraguay international has impressed in the MLS this season and has attracted interest from a number of European clubs.

And Calciomercato claim Arsenal and Inter Milan could battle for his signature.

The attacking midfielder could reportedly cost between £13m and £18m.
