Star Wars Battlefront 2 beta end date: How long until PS4 and Xbox One goes offline

The Star Wars Battlefront 2 beta has given fans a generous helping of playtesting experience, before the big launch.

Fans don’t actually have to wait that long until the full game is released, but might still want to take advantage nonetheless.

That’s because the Stars Wars Battlefront 2 beta end date has been set by EA.

The beta ends at 5pm BST on Monday, October 9, having given fans an entire weekend to try the new Battlefront 2 content.

Fans can still download the beta from the PlayStation Store, Xbox Live or Origins for PC if they haven’t managed to get on yet.

The PC beta weighs in at around 22GB, the PS4 beta is just over 15GB, while the Xbox One beta requires 13.2GB of free space.

There are also Daily Challenges to complete, with one remaining for the October 8-9 period.

The Starfighter Assault Challenge include this: Become a Hero ship, destroy 5 turrets, destroy 5 objects, and get a Saviour Kill Assist 25 times.

When the beta first launched, it was only available to those who had already pre-ordered.

This was followed by it becoming an open beta, meaning that some fans have had a lot of time with the various game modes available.

And the length of time already given by EA seems to suggest that a beta extension is pretty unlikely.

This has happened in the past, although the games giant have yet to say anything that would suggest as extra 24hrs could be added.

When the game does launch in November, those who who pre-order will get instant access to an upgraded Epic Lightsaber Mastery Star Card for Yoda.

Players who pre-order will also receive exclusive Star Wars: The Last Jedi content including:

  • Exclusive Star Wars: The Last Jedi outfits for Kylo Ren and Rey
  • Instant access to six hero and starfighter epic Star Cards
  • Kylo Ren: Power Reach and Solid Freeze
  • Rey: Far Sight and Deep Mind
  • Starfighters: Enhanced Auxiliary Power and First Order ship upgrade
  • Instant access to Star Wars: The Last Jedi Millennium Falcon with updated sounds and appearance

This content will be available for everyone who pre-orders, no matter which version you plan on playing.

Additionally, pre-orders of the Star Wars Battlefront II: Elite Trooper Deluxe Edition Deluxe Edition come with three-day early access to Star Wars Battlefront II and upgraded versions of all four trooper classes.
