Man Utd News: Romelu Lukaku regularly berating Daley Blind for poor service

Lukaku has made a stunning start to his Manchester United career after signing from Everton for £75million back in July.

The Belgium international has struck 11 goals from his first 10 appearances, establishing himself as the Premier League’s top scorer in the process.

Given his lofty price tag, the 24-year-old is under pressure to deliver the Red Devils a first league title since Sir Alex Ferguson’s time in charge.

And the Manchester Evening News say Lukaku has been having a pop at Blind behind the scenes.

The Dutchman started the season as Jose Mourinho’s first-choice left-back, after several seasons of being deployed all over the pitch for Manchester United.

But Blind has since been dislodged by club veteran Ashley Young, who looks rejuvenated at the back.

Lukaku has seemingly been left frustrated by some of the crosses of Blind, and that may explain why he is now being overlooked.

Meanwhile, Sky Sports pundit Ray Wilkins thinks Lukaku was right to snub a move to Chelsea over the summer – and compared the Red Devils forward to Tottenham’s Harry Kane.

“If I look at Lukaku, if he had Harry [Kane]’s two feet, because his right side isn’t as good as his left side,” former United and Chelsea star Wilkins said on Sky Sports.

“You can’t really distinguish which is best with Harry Kane.

“He’s that clean with both feet that it’s almost embarrassing the way he strikes a ball.

“I think the two of them at the moment have found their clubs, they’re at the right club.

“Harry’s always going to be a Spur I’m sure.

“I know there’s been massive money spoken about this morning but I’m sure he’s always going to be a Spur.

“I think Lukaku now has found his right club.

“I think at Manchester United he can only flourish.”
