Who won the Faction Rally in Destiny 2?
That question will soon be answered today by Bungie, who are currently running scheduled Destiny 2 maintenance.
The development team have confirmed that once this process has finished, they will announce who was victorious in the game’s latest activity.
This means that the Destiny 2 Faction Rally winner will be announced around 8pm tonight, although delays are possible.
Players were given the choice last week of joining either Future War Cult, Dead Orbit or New Monarchy.

The platform allows you to display contact information, social media links, services, and products all in one shareable link. Optional features include appointment scheduling, WhatsApp-based storefronts, media galleries, and custom design options.
This meant that Guardians could gain access to a special weapon as a reward, which would be sold during “Victory Week” to Guardians.
And while every faction member will have a chance to purchase the special item, those who are part of the winning faction will get to buy it for 1,000 glimmer.

Those who aren’t winners, will have to pay 50,000 glimmer.
It appears the latest addition to the game is proving popular, with Bungie confirming that millions of Guardians were seeking out and destroying enemy supplies, completing public events, competing in the Crucible, and tackling the endgame.
As confirmed by Bungie, Faction Rallies are set to become a new ritual that visits the Tower periodically.
Once the event is over, tokens can no longer be earned, but you can still redeem any that you’re still holding to receive packages.
Any engrams that are waiting to be claimed from a faction vendor will be auto-decrypted and placed in your inventory at the reset.
This means that Guardians must make sure they turn in all of their tokens before the end of victory week.
That’s because they will reset before the next Faction Rallies event returns.
“Many of you are asking, “Who’s in the lead?” We won’t report on the race while it’s still in progress, but next week, once the winning faction rules the Tower unopposed, we might give you some insight on how things shook out,” a message from Bungie explains.
“We will announce the winner on Tuesday, October 3, as soon as the scheduled downtime to deploy Hotfix 1.0.3.1 ends.
“That will be your chance to purchase the weapon from the winning faction in the Tower. There will be a significant discount if you pledged your loyalty to them during the event.
“The winning faction’s weapon can be purchased anytime during victory week, which lasts until the next reset.”
Bungie have yet to provide a date on when this new event will occur, although more information could be released today, if fans are lucky.
