07.45: Alvaro Morata’ injury problem is not as bad as first feared and he could still play for Spain during the international break.

That is according to Marca who report that he will have tests in Madrid today to check on his condition.

Spain face Albania and Israel and Morata has teamed up with the squad.

Morata was substituted after 35 minutes in the defeat against Manchester City and Antonio Conte said he would struggle to play for Julen Lopetegui’s side.

Conte said: “It is a muscular problem, I don’t think it is not a serious injury.

“He said he wanted to stop otherwise he would risk a bad injury.

“The doctor has to check the situation, I don’t think he is available for the national team.”

Hazard new deal

07.30: Eden Hazard is poised to sign a new contract worth £300,000 a week, making him the highest paid player in the Premier League.

Hazard has returned to action for Chelsea after missing the start of the season through injury.

He was in stunning form last week as Chelsea beat Atletico Madrid in the Champions League.

And he was Chelsea’s most dangerous player against Manchester City on Saturday.

And now the Blues will look to tie him down for the long-haul to put interest from Real Madrid on the back burner.

Conte to quit

07.15: Antonio Conte is keen to quit Chelsea in the summer, according to the Times.

Conte recently gave an interview admitting he wanted to go back to Italy before too long.

And the Times think the time is coming and he’s open to offers as early as this summer.

Conte has been an explosive character at Chelsea but guided them to the title last season and they have started the new season fairly well.

They dropped to fourth in the Premier League on Saturday after defeat to Manchester City but have won both of their Champions League games so far.
