Flights to and from McCarran International have been halted as police continue to investigate , according to AirLive.
Gunmen opened fire on revellers at the music festival at around 11pm (local time), according to reports.
At least two people have been killed, and at least 24 are injured.
Officers said “multiple” casualties had been rushed to hospital with gunshot wounds.
Police blocked off Las Vegas Boulevard after reports of multiple shooters with fully automatic weapons on the 29th and 32nd floor of the Mandalay Bay Casino.
The final night of Route 91 Harvest country music festival was taking place across the road from Mandalay Bay which is near McCarran airport on the south side of the Strip.
Officers say one suspect is down.
