Cavani has been PSG’s main man ever since Zlatan Ibrahimovic left to join Manchester United last summer.
But the Uruguay international’s throne has been threatened ever since the Ligue 1 giants splashed out a huge £198million to sign Neymar from Barcelona.
The two heavyweights were involved in an on-pitch row at the weekend, with Neymar angry at Cavani’s decision to take both a free-kick and penalty in a 2-0 win over Lyon.
And the Daily Mail say, in the wake of that argument, Chelsea and Everton are among the clubs keen to snap him up.
PSG have insisted all is well between both Cavani and Neymar, but the former Napoli star was known to be angry while Ibrahimovic was the main man.
Chelsea could do with another striker given Michy Batshuayi’s struggle for form.
And Everton, meanwhile, are still looking for a replacement for Romelu Lukaku, who left to join United earlier this summer.
The Daily Mail say, however, a move to the Premier League would not be easy.
PSG have to sell in January to comply with Financial Fair Play regulations but Angel Di Maria and Lucas Moura are likelier to be shown the exit door.
Additionally, Cavani’s wages could prove problematic with the 30-year-old currently pocketing £120,000 a week.
Chelsea and Everton are not the only clubs keen to sign him.
Serie A duo Juventus and Inter Milan are also keen to lure him away from the Parc des Princes.
And Borussia Dortmund could also make a move with the future of Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang still uncertain.
