James Bond news: 007 Elements announced – But what exactly is it?

At first glance fans might think Elements is the title of the 25th official 007 movie

But don’t be fooled, 007 Elements: A James Bond cinematic installation is a new experience for fans that will open this winter.

Built inside the summit of the Gaislachkogl Mountain in Solden, Austria, 007 Elements will focus on Spectre – which was shot on location there – but also other movies in the Bond franchise.

According to 007.com, the cinematic installation “reflects the visitor’s journey through a series of galleries, each distilling the craft and signature elements that define a James Bond film.”

Elements was helmed by Neal Callow, who was Art Director on all four of Daniel Craig’s Bond movies.

With Optimist Inc’s Head of Design, Tino Schaedler, they have created “an immersive, interactive, and educational experience that places visitors inside the world of 007, while revealing how that world is made.

Callow revealed: “Our aim with 007 Elements is to tell the narrative of the Bond story in an emotional and engaging way.

“We want to use this incredible location to place our guests into Bond’s environment, and bring the stories to life in a unique and unforgettable way.”

The rest of Elements’ description continued: “Located 3,050 meters above sea level, the 1,300 square meter building has been constructed within the mountain and is arranged over two levels.

“Blending seamlessly with its surroundings, the impressive structure reveals itself through a tunnel and unfolds into two main areas offering spectacular views of the Tyrolean valleys.

“Combining state-of-the-art technology with stark contemporary architecture, 007 ELEMENTS creates a captivating experience with a dramatic cinematic soundscape set in nature’s awe-inspiring surroundings.”

James Bond 25 will be released in UK cinemas in early November 2019.
