European Commission president, Jean-Claude Juncker, delivered his State of the Union speech today when he insisted the European Union should move towards greater integration despite Brexit.
During his speech, he set out his 12-month plan to steer the blog through the migration crisis and reform the eurozone.
After Mr Juncker’s speech, Mr Papadakis said: “We cannot hide the fact the EU is actively taking part in Imperialist wars, the EU is only becoming worse and the people’s discontent is growing every day, we need to overthrow the real enemy.”
Mr Juncker said the “wind is back in Europe’s sails” and told the European Parliament there was a “window of opportunity” to build a stronger union.
Mr Papadakis said: “A scenario of the future of the European Union is yet another attempt to find a compromise between the past competition that is going on within the EU and the eurozone where Germany has sprung far ahead of the other countries.

Mr Papadakis was elected to the European Parliament in 2014 as one of two MEPs from the Communist Part of Greece.
The state of the union address gives the Commission president a chance to outline the political objectives of the EU executive for the immediate future and announce new policies.
In his speech, Mr Juncker said Romania and Bulgaria should join the Schengen zone so its citizens would be able to move freely throughout the bloc.
He said that the UK’s departure from the bloc is tragic but is not everything as he told Nigel Farage that he will regret it.
