Meghan Markle SPEAKS about Prince Harry relationship and gives BIG engagement hint

Meghan Markle, 36, spoke to the publication about her royal romance with Prince Harry, 32, and said: “We’re two people who are really happy and in love.

“We were very quietly dating for about six months before it became news, and I was working during that whole time, and the only thing that changed was people’s perception.

“Nothing about me changed. I’m still the same person that I am, and I’ve never defined myself by my relationship.”

Meghan shared the insights into her relationship during an interview with Vanity Fair for their October issue, which goes on sale on Friday, September 8th, and is online now at https://www.vanityfair.com.

Meghan also revealed how happy they both are in their new relationship.

She continued: “We’re a couple. We’re in love.”

And she dropped her biggest hint yet that the couple may soon be engaged and have to face the pressures that come with that, and said: “I’m sure there will be a time when we will have to come forward and present ourselves and have stories to tell, but I hope what people will understand is that this is our time.

“This is for us. It’s part of what makes it so special, that it’s just ours. But we’re happy. Personally, I love a great love story.”

Meghan’s comments, and the fact that she has spoken so publicly, could be a sign an engagement between the couple is imminent.

She revealed she doesn’t not read the extensive press coverage of their relationship, and hopes to not be affected by any public interest.

She said: “I don’t read any press. I haven’t even read press for Suits.

“The people who are close to me anchor me in knowing who I am. The rest is noise.”

The Suits actress also spoke about her upbringing in California, and the philanthropy she has been involved in for much of her life – just like her royal “boyfriend” as she called Prince Harry throughout the interview.

Discussing her parents, she said: “What’s so incredible, you know, is that my parents split up when I was two, [but] I never saw them fight.

“We would still take vacations together. My dad would come on Sundays to drop me off, and we’d watch Jeopardy! eating dinner on TV trays, the three of us. . . . We were still so close-knit.”
