That is the opinion of pundit and ex-Arsenal midfielder Stewart Robson.
Robson is notoriously critical of his former side and their manager Arsene Wenger and he has not held back here.
Sanchez was forced to stay at Arsenal after the Gunners failed in a pursuit to sign a replacement before the transfer window shut last night.
A £55million bid was accepted from Manchester City but Arsenal stopped it after Monaco winger Thomas Lemar rejected a £92million move.
Robson says Alexis Sanchez should have been sold and doubts he will put in 100 per cent this season and will miss games through ‘injury’.

“Here’s a player who doesn’t want to be at the club,” Robson said on ESPN FC.
“Last year when Arsene Wenger dropped him against Liverpool, he put it out in the press that Alexis Sanchez doesn’t do as much running as people said he did.
“He wasn’t such a good team player as people said he was, they hung him out to dry.
“This is a player that doesn’t want to be there.
“I think, with the World Cup year, at Arsenal he will be injured most of the time, he will just keep himself ticking along, he won’t give maximum performance and he will be ready for Chile.
“He doesn’t have to put great performances in for Arsenal to be in top form for Chile come the World Cup.
“It’s a bad, bad move from Arsenal.”
Sanchez played in Chile’s 3-0 World Cup qualifier loss to Paraguay last night.
