West Ham give Slaven Bilic four games to save his job or face being SACKED

West Ham sit rock bottom of the Premier League table after losing their opening three games of the season, in which they have shipped 10 goals.

Bilic held his usual post-match debriefing with Hammers co-owner David Sullivan on Monday to discuss Saturday’s 3-0 defeat at Newcastle.

And according to The Mirror, the West Ham boss was told results must improve next month when they play three of their four league games at the London Stadium.

West Ham host Huddersfield, Tottenham and Swansea in the league and also Championship side Bolton in the EFL Cup, and face a trip to West Brom.

The Hammers have played their first four games – including a EFL Cup win at Cheltenham – due to the World Athletics Championships taking place at their home ground.

Bilic slammed his side after their performance against Newcastle over the weekend, claiming there were no positives to take from the St James’ Park defeat.

“I’m worried, but I’m not panicking. It’s very early,” the Croatian said.

“After the game at Southampton, we had zero points but I was very positive with the way we reacted to being down to ten men.

“This is different, this is worrying. But I’m the manager and it’s my job to be confident and to believe you have good times and bad times.

“In the bad times, you need to see the importance of the job more than you do in the good times.

“It was a difficult game. They were better than us in every aspect of the game. They simply had more power and determination.”
