All eyes are on Samsung’s new Note 8 which has been officially unveiled at a huge Unpacked event in New York.
This updated flagship now includes a host of exciting new features including a giant 6.3-inch curved display, refreshed S Pen and faster processor.
There’s also a dual-lens camera on the rear of the device which can zoom and add depth of field effects to images taken on the device..
This is the first time a flagship smartphone from Samsung has included this latest photographic technology.
These updates and upgrades make the Note 8 one of the best smartphones of the year, even eclipsing the stunning Galaxy S8.
However, there is one big issue with the Note 8 which could make still make the older S8 a very attractive option – that’s its price.
The Note 8 will cost £869 making it the most expensive Galaxy ever.
Meanwhile, the S8 has just received another major price cut with the device now costing just £29 per month on 24-month contract.
The deal, from Mobiles.co.uk, offers unlimited calls/texts and 4GB of data with a £100 upfront cost.
Amazon has also slashed the price of the S8 with the device now costing £549.99 SIM-Free.
That’s a saving of over £130 off the original cost.
The S8 doesn’t include a dual-lens camera or S Pen but it’s clearly a lot less damaging to your bank account.
If you’re still holding out to see what the Note 8 has to offer, Samsung’s big Unpacked event kicks off at 4pm.
