Batman SHOCK: Ben Affleck DROPPED for new actor in upcoming DC solo movie?

Since an Affleck-led Batman solo movie was announced last year, the project has had many twists and turns.

At first the 45-year-old star was going to write, direct and star in the new Dark Knight movie.

Then came the news that Planet of the Apes’ Reeves would direct, followed by an update from the filmmaker that Affleck’s script had been dropped.

Despite reassurance from Affleck at Comic-Con that he would continue, it now looks like another actor could be playing Batman at the same time but in a different movie universe.

Yesterday , one that would be separate from the DC Expanded Universe and star another actor other than Jared Leto.

The Hollywood Reporter then claimed Reeves’ Batman movie would be outside the DCEU too and star a new actor other than Affleck.

As shocking as that news sounds, the outlet then updated their story saying: “It is unclear where that project will fall.”

Nevertheless the possibility of Affleck being dropped for a new actor in a separate universe remains, as does him and another Batman star playing the same character at the same time.

For now Affleck will star as Batman in Justice League with Gal Gadot’s Wonder Woman and Henry Cavill’s Superman.

Justice League will be released in UK cinemas on November 17, 2017.
