Jack Wilshere to leave Arsenal?
06:00: Jack Wilshere is reportedly prepared to move away from Arsenal to bolster his chances of making England’s World Cup squad.
Recent reports have linked the midfielder with a move to Turkish outfit Trabzonspor.
And now according to The Times, Wilshere is giving serious thought to his Emirates future with a World Cup next summer.
Wilshere, it is claimed, would not be prepared to drop down to a Championship club, leaving West Ham and Crystal Palace as his most viable options.
The Times also suggest the Gunners will not consider letting Wilshere go out on loan again.
Can to Juve claim
04:00: Emre Can would be a good signing for Juventus if he was to leave Liverpool, according to Alex Manninger.
Manninger told Il Bianco Nero: “He [Can] is young and is a player I’ve always admired.
“He is still young but is definitely very strong. He plays like a veteran. He knows how to defend and how to score goals.
“Juventus will make no mistake if they sign him. He has great charisma and never wants to lose. He has Turkish blood but German technique.”
Ings to Newcastle?
02:00: Danny Ings remains the subject of interest from Newcastle.
The Liverpool striker has been plagued by injuries throughout his career at Anfield so far.
He has only managed to make six appearances since signing for the Merseyside club from Burnley in 2015.

Lucas won’t leave PSG
19:30: Arsenal target Lucas Moura has revealed he has recently upped his game in an attempt to fight for his place at Paris Saint-Germain.
The Brazil international has been linked with a January move to the Gunners after falling down the pecking order at PSG but he does not want to leave.
“Now I eat by following the rules,” he told Brazilian outlet UOL Esporte.
“I don’t eat pizzas and barbecue food anymore, despite how much I miss them. I am concentrating on improving my physical performance.
“Whatever the situation with the national team, that is Tite’s decision. I need to concentrate on improving at PSG.
“The season began in a difficult way for me, but my aim is to win back my starting place and the great moments that I had last year.”
Ozil should snub Man Utd
15.50: Arsenal midfielder Mesut Ozil must not join Manchester United, according to former Germany striker Karl-Heinz Riedle.
“Ozil going back to Germany? Who knows,” Riedle told broadcaster Omnisport.
“There’s a rumour that he goes to Manchester United. He shouldn’t do it.
“Ozil is a quality player. If you see his skills, it’s just amazing what he can do on the pitch.
“We would be very happy if he comes back to a club in Germany, for sure.”
“But if he is looking only for the money, then it would be very difficult to find the same kind of money in the German league than he can find in the Premier League.”
Martial happy at Old Trafford
14:50: Anthony Martial is reportedly happy at Manchester United, despite reports linking him with a move to Arsenal.
Martial enjoyed a stunning debut campaign at Manchester United after his big-money move from Monaco in 2015, but has fallen down the pecking order since the arrival of Jose Mourinho.
He’s started just four games across all competitions this season, but has still impressed with five goals and six assists.
Arsenal were linked with a move for the 22-year-old over the weekend, with Arsene Wenger said to be a long-term admirer.
The Gunners manager has reportedly identified Martial as the ideal replacement for Alexis Sanchez, who is out of contract at the end of the season.
But the Manchester Evening News claims Martial is ‘very content’ at Old Trafford and is not planning on leaving the Red Devils anytime soon.

“I have a feeling he’s come here, he’s conquered. This year’s going to be harder with Manchester United and Manchester City.
“Yeah, without a doubt he’ll try to win the Champions League this season. Then I think he will go, I think this will be his last year.”

N’Golo Kante’s bizarre qualification
14:30: Chelsea midfield maestro N’Golo Kante has revealed he’s also a qualified accountant.
Kante has taken the Premier League by storm since his move to Leicester two years ago.
He helped the Foxes to the title in the 2015/16 campaign and again with Chelsea last season following his £32million switch, but the France international admits there’s more to him than controlling Chelsea’s midfield.
Kante is also a qualified accountant, a profession he had as a back-up plan had his career taken a difference path.
“When I was 18, I got my baccalaureate [the French A-Level equivalent] and after that I did two more years of study in accountancy,” Kante told Chelsea magazine.
“At this time, I was at Boulogne, in the second team – the sixth, then the fifth division. I wasn’t professional, so I kept studying because I wasn’t sure if I would be able to make a living as a footballer.”
Mourinho watches Mijat Gacinovic
14:15: Jose Mourinho reportedly underwent a secret scouting mission last week to run the rule over Serbia winger Mijat Gacinovic.
The 22-year-old started and played 87 minutes of Serbia’s 3-2 defeat to Austria in a World Cup qualifier.
United were in the market for a winger over the summer, and tracked Inter Milan’s Ivan Perisic, although a deal never materialised.
Mourinho was also exploring the option of signing Real Madrid star Gareth Bale, but the Welshman ended up staying at the Bernabeu.
The Daily Mirror report there were various conspiracies bandied about as to who Mourinho was at the game to see.
Austrian TV, the report cites, believed the Portuguese coach was there to keep an eye on Dusan Tadic, although sources close to United supposedly dismissed the idea.
However, the Mirror claim Mourinho was scouting Gacinovic, who is currently playing for Bundesliga outfit Eintracht Frankfurt.
The report suggests Arsenal had scouts to keep an eye on Gacinovic in his country’s previous two international games.
Gomez thanks Klopp
14:00: Liverpool defender Joe Gomez has thanks Jurgen Klopp for giving him the chance to prove himself at the highest level.
Gomez told LFC Magazine: “He has been great for someone like me going through an injury like that and then coming back. For him to be able to bed me in and speak to me at the same time has been ideal, and it’s made it a lot easier for me in comparison to how it could have been.
“I want to play for him and for the club and try to put the injuries behind me. I’m thankful for the opportunities that he has been giving me.
“When I was out, he was someone I was always dreaming of playing for, but the timing was difficult and I didn’t get the chance. Now I’m just thankful and want to keep taking it in my stride.”
Mourinho wants Roberto
13:45: Jose Mourinho wants Barcelona star Sergi Roberto at Manchester United, according to reports in Spain.
Roberto has established himself as a key player for Barcelona since breaking into the first team in the 2015/16 campaign.
He’s played in all-but one of Barca’s La Liga games this season as they sit unbeaten at the top of the table, chipping in with a goal and two assists.
And according to Spanish outlet Don Balon, Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho is a huge admirer of the 25-year-old.
Mourinho is said to have told United chiefs to stop at nothing to sign the Spain international.
The Barcelona academy product has a £36million release clause in his contract, and Mourinho feels he’s worth every penny.
Ex-Liverpool GK: Emre Can would thrive at Juve
13:40: Former Liverpool goalkeeper Alex Manninger thinks Emre Can would succeed with Juventus.
The Germany international is in the final nine months of his current deal at Anfield, making him eligible in January to sign a pre-contract for next summer with other clubs.
And Manninger believes he would fit in seamlessly in Turin.
He told Italian website IlBiancoNero: “Emre Can is young and is a player I’ve always admired.
“He is still young but is already very strong. He plays like a veteran. He knows how to defend and how to score goals.
“Can is a winner and Juventus will make no mistake if they sign him. He has great charisma and never wants to lose. He has Turkish blood but German technique.”
Babb: De Gea would make Liverpool title contenders
13:30: Manchester United goalkeeper David de Gea would make Liverpool definite title contenders if he joined the Reds, according to Phil Babb.
“I think roughly about 15 points a season,” Babb said De Gea would win the Reds.
“So that puts them in good stead. I think if Liverpool had De Gea in goal they would be a completely different animal and definitely title contenders.”
Arsenal plot Benzema swoop
13:15: Arsenal are ready to make a move for Real Madrid striker Karim Benzema, according to reports in Spain.
Arsenal have long been linked with a move for Benzema, with Arsene Wenger said to be a huge admirer of his French compatriot.
And according to Spanish media outlet Don Balon, the Gunners boss is to capitalise on the 29-year-old’s uncertain future at Real Madrid.
Benzema only signed a new four-year contract at Real last month, but that hasn’t stopped speculation linking the club with Tottenham’s Harry Kane and Bayern Munich’s Robert Lewandowski as potential replacements.
And with Arsenal expected to lose star players Alexis Sanchez and Mesut Ozil, who are both out of contract next summer, Wenger has eyed Benzema to fill the void should they leave.
Don Balon add that Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho has information from an insider at the Bernabeu on Arsenal’s interest in Benzema following his time at Real.
But Mourinho is reportedly not planning to bring the former Lyon striker to Old Trafford.
Adrien Rabiot: I was fully behind Liverpool
13:00: Paris St-Germain midfielder Adrien Rabiot has revealed that he would love to play in the Premier League.
The 22-year-old Frenchman, who’s been linked with Arsenal in the past, openly discussed his future ambitions.
And perhaps hinted that Anfield would be his preferred destination after adding that he supported Liverpool as a youngster.
He told French station RMC: “I think that I would like to one day see something else. There are many good leagues. It is also enriching to go elsewhere but for the moment I feel good at PSG.
“I would love to play in the Premier League. For no club in particular, even though when I was young I was fully behind Liverpool.”

Transfer News: Chelsea and Manchester United are battling to sign Tottenham star Danny Rose
Ranieri: Antonio Conte will stay
12:45: Claudio Ranieri is confident Antonio Conte will remain at Chelsea beyond this season.
Express Sport understands Italy want Conte to takeover from Gian Piero Ventura after next year’s World Cup in Russia.
Conte himself has already discussed his desire to return to his native Italy sooner rather than later.
But Ranieri, who’s now manager of Ligue 1 outfit Nantes, doesn’t think Conte is as homesick as people say.
He told Italian newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport: “The Premier League remains the top, and I’m not convinced by Conte’s homesickness. Maybe he was expecting a different transfer campaign, but for a few years now Roman Abramovich hasn’t been doing crazy spending.
“Manchester United and Manchester City have made great signings, so I imagine it’s more draining for Antonio to be fighting on two fronts with the same players.”
Atkinson to referee Man Utd vs Liverpool
12:15: You know it’s a BIG clash when we discuss who’s refereeing it.
Martin Atkinson will referee Saturday’s Premier League fixture between Liverpool and Manchester United.
Atkinson last officiated this match in March 2015, when he sent off Steven Gerrard just 38 seconds after coming on as a half-time substitute.
Manchester United won 2-1 that day, and they’ve also won the only two other fixtures against Liverpool when Atkinson has been in charge.
Barca to exploit Griezmann clause
12:00: Barcelona are reportedly trying to sign Atletico Madrid star Antonine Griezmann on the cheap!
Spanish website Mundo Deportivo claim Barcelona chiefs are looking at the Frenchman’s contract, and hope to exploit his release clause.
The report suggests Griezmann has an £89million release clause in his current contract that will expire on July 1.
However, after that date, another clause will kick in that doubles his price-tag to a whopping £178million until his deal expires on 2023.
It’s therefore been claimed that Barcelona will look to complete a deal before the World Cup next summer.
Premier League duo Manchester United and Arsenal, along with Real Madrid, have also been credited with interest, and might try to capitalise themselves.
Mourinho to battle Chelsea for Rose
11:45: Manchester United are reportedly set to return for Tottenham full-back Danny Rose in January.
Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho was said to be keen on bringing in a new left-back during the summer as he still has reservations over Luke Shaw.
Tottenham’s Rose was high up on Mourinho’s shortlist, but Spurs resisted and kept hold of the England international.
However, according to transfer outlet TuttoMercatoWeb, United are expected to renew their interest in the 27-year-old when the window reopens in January.
Mourinho has mostly relied on utility man Daley Blind and right-back Matteo Darmian on the left-side of defence so far this season, with Shaw recovering from a foot injury.
TuttoMercatoWeb add that Premier League champions Chelsea are also interested in signing Rose in the winter window.
Solari’s job is safe
11:30: Real Madrid Castilla boss Santiago Solari’s job is safe, reports claim.
Castilla are 11 points behind leaders Deportivo B in the Segunda B, and have collected just two victories this season.
But Spanish newspaper Marca claim Solari’s position is NOT under review and the club judge him more on player development.
Schalke skipper expects Goretzka to leave
11:15: Leon Goretzka’s Schalke colleagues have already accepted that he will leave the club, but they aren’t exactly sure when.
The German talent has attracted interest from virtually every European heavyweight after numerous dazzling displays in the Bundesliga.
Arsenal, Barcelona, Chelsea, Liverpool, and Manchester United have all been credited with interest in the 22-year-old, who netted a brilliant backheel against Azerbaijan on Sunday.
Schalke captain Ralf Fahrmann spoke about the midfielder, and conceded that he will probably leave the club.
He said: “I’d like him to stay here for a long time. But you also have to be honest. A man with his qualities is difficult to keep in the long run. In the long run, he will land at one of the top clubs. The only question is when?”
German newspaper Bild claim there are a number of clauses in Goretzka’s contract that mean Schalke are unlikely to sell in January.
Reds eye De Vrij in January
11:00: Liverpool are interested in signing Lazio star Stefan De Vrij in January, reports claim.
Italian newspaper Il Tempo report that Jurgen Klopp has added the Dutch centre-back to his shopping list to help resolve their vulnerable defence.
The Serie A side want Liverpool to trigger his £40million release clause, but the player is hopeful they’ll allow him to leave for £22million.
It’s unclear if De Vrij is an alternative to Southampton star Virgil van Dijk, or whether Liverpool plan to sign both in a major defensive overhaul.
Arsenal plot Benzema swoop
10:45: Arsenal are ready to make a move for Real Madrid striker Karim Benzema, according to reports in Spain.
