Wilder is unbeaten in his 38 professional fights and Stiverne is the only opponent to have gone the distance with him.
The pair met in Las Vegas back in 2015 and Wilder dominated, winning a unanimous decision where one judge gave him every round.
Wilder had been due to fight unbeaten Luis Ortiz on November 4 but that contest was cancelled this week after the Cuban failed a drug test.
Stiverne has stepped up to replace but Wilder believes it will be in vain and that this time, the result could be even more emphatic.
“In the first fight, I broke my hand in the third round, and I still dominated. That was a lot of the reason why it went the distance,” said Wilder.

“This time it’s a different day, different time and different fight.
“This time it won’t end well for him.”
Wilder would have had to fight a rematch against Stiverne at some point as he is the mandatory challenger for the American’s WBC heavyweight title.
The 31-year-old has already defended the belt successfully five times but has his eyes on even more titles.
He has talked up a clash with IBF and WBA champ Anthony Joshua but knows that first, he must overcome Stiverne.
Wilder added: “Stiverne asked for it, so he’s going to get it.
“Whatever happens happens. Ask and you shall receive.
“I’m relieved to be getting my mandatory out of the way. At least now I won’t have to deal with that down the road.
“Despite all of these obstacles that are thrown in my path, it still will not stop me from reaching my ultimate goal, which is to be the undisputed heavyweight champion of the world.
“Stiverne will pay for Luis Ortiz screwing up.”
