Van Morrison is a rock legend who has been in the music business for decades. His biggest hits include Brown Eyed Girl and Moondance, and last year he celebrated 50 years since the release of the iconic Astral Weeks album. He has been touring the world – but are there still tickets for the London Palladium?

Are there still tickets to Van Morrison?

Due to the overwhelming demand to see Van Morrison perform, the star has added a sixth and final date to his tour, meaning he will now play the London Palladium one more time.

At present, the singer will be play from March 20 to 25, 2020, at the London Palladium, but now he will also be singing on March 26.

This will make his residency a full six nights, and tickets are being released for the final date soon.

In fact, fans can buy the tickets from 9am on December 6, via the London Palladium or through Ticketline, as well as on Ticketmaster.

Where is Van Morrison playing?

Van Morrison is about to head out on tour beginning at the Storming Hotel in Belfast.

From there, he will perform in America until he arrives at the Palladium in London on March 20, 2020.

After that, the singer will perform in Belgium and Stuttgart before his tour ends on July 16.

Van Morrison’s tour is also focused on sharing the sounds of his new album, named Three Chords and the Truth, released in October 2019.

A quote from country singer Harlan Howard, the music is a slightly different style to his previous albums.

Three Chords and the Truth is Van Morrison’s 41st album and is more country than its predecessor, The Prophet Speaks, which was rooted in the blues.

Van Morrison is also known and loved by millions of fans, having earned a knighthood, a Brit, an OBE, and an Ivor Novello Award.

As well as these, he has six Grammys to his name and honorary doctorates from Queen’s University Belfast and the University of Ulster.

Van Morrison was inducted into The Rock n Roll Hall of Fame in 1993 and earned and the French Ordres Des Artes Et Des Lettres – attested to the international reach of his musical art.

Clearly, this artist is one whose music keeps on giving, especially as he has put out almost an album a year since 1970.

However, his 50th anniversary album, celebrated last year, was Astral Weeks, which really saw the beginning of his fame journey.

The album was not an immediate success, but since has been placed on various lists of The Best Album of All Time and has impacted various artists, including Bono and Bruce Springsteen.
