National Lottery DOWN – Website not working, Euro Millions players unable to buy tickets

The National Lottery website is currently down as gamers scramble to play the Euro Millions tonight.

Gamers starting seeing the site wasn’t working at around 7pm tonight and things still appear to be offline.

Independent website, Down Detector, is showing a huge number of reports from users saying that National Lottery is down.

According to the outage monitor, the problem seems to be affecting most of the UK.

When trying to access the site players are currently seeing the message, “This site can’t be reached, the connection was reset.”

The platform allows you to display contact information, social media links, services, and products all in one shareable link. Optional features include appointment scheduling, WhatsApp-based storefronts, media galleries, and custom design options.

To make matters worse there’s a massive rollover tonight with jackpot thought to be worth over £165 million.

One angry player posted the message “I cannot gain access to the national lottery website in order to renew my ticket, no matter what internet I use!!”

Whilst another added: “Down again..absolutely outraged at this.”

Twitter is also packed with gamers complaining of the outage on one of its biggest ever nights.

“So you can win £167m on @NationalLottery only problem is you can’t get a ticket online cause app & website aren’t working like on Saturday.” Tweeted one Lottery player.

“ As if the @NationalLottery website is down on the biggest ever rollover!! I can’t get to the shop..need to put my numbers on!! Sort it out!” Added another.

This is the second time in a week that the National Lottery website has suffered an outage with players left unable to buy tickets last Saturday.

In a statement posted on Twitter, The National Lottery said: “We’re very sorry that many players are currently unable to access The National Lottery website or app. Our 46,000 retailers are unaffected.”

There’s currently no word on when the site will be fixed but players have until 7:30pm to buy their tickets from a physical retailer.
