Tottenham boss Mauricio Pochettino has hinted that the club may spend on transfers in the January window if their form doesn’t improve.
Spurs drew 1-1 with Watford in the league on Saturday and haven’t won a competitive game since the end of September.
But Tottenham lost heavily to Brighton before the Watford game and were thrashed in the Champions League by Bayern Munich as well.
Pochettino’s side have also been dumped out of the Carabao Cup too – to Colchester on penalties.
Their league fixtures aren’t getting any easier either, because next up they have league leaders Liverpool.

And Pochettino, who has been critical of Spurs’ transfer methods in the past, has hinted that the club may react in January if the torrid form continues.
He told journalists: “You are guessing and in the last few months I have taken many questions from you, different interviews, and always I am clear with you. I don’t say yes or no. I don’t say we are going to sign or not sign, sell or not sell.
“It is not the moment to talk, when the time arrives we are going to take that decision in one way or another. But please, I am not contradictory in my speech or my press conference. Now is the time to stay all together, all of the squad, with the staff and the fans and try and change the atmosphere.
“We are not going to get any benefit to talk about January, it is too far away, we have got a lot of games to play.
“That is the structure of the club that is working and thinking and they need to be ready if we need to do something, if not we keep going, but I am happy with the squad, I am happy with the players.
“Like always, what is going to happen in January I cannot guess today, what happens will happen. We need to take the responsibility.
“But that question, if we win all of the games why will we need to do anything, but if we need something we need to act. But we need to act and stay calm.
“The most important thing now is to provide calm to the players, they need to recover for Tuesday because it is going to be important to win and build again our confidence, it is going to be tough because the Champions League is always tough.
Tottenham sit seventh in the league and next take on Red Star Belgrade in the Champions League on Tuesday night (8pm).
