Speaking to Express.co.uk, Darren firstly picked up on the couple’s likeness to US power couple the Obamas.
He said: “President Macron and Brigitte are very reminiscent of the Obamas and are such a stark contrast to other power couples such as the Trumps.”
While body language experts have picked up on Donald Trump and Melania Trump’s distance as a couple, Darren notes a stark contrast with the Macrons.
He said: “Both are displaying genuine smiles, denoted by crows feet at the side of the eyes, which is impossible to fake, so they are obviously very comfortable with each other and the environment.
“The way they hold hands and their arms being almost intertwined is significant as to their intimacy and this is a couple very much in full support of each other.”
While Macron delivered his speech on the podium, Brigitte stood by his side.
Darren said: “Again, this shows a clear indication that she wants to and and is going to be very much involved.
“Her posture, with her arms folded and her facial expression, denotes someone who is a little frustrated as she looks out at the audience – perhaps she has seen or overheard something or someone that she is not happy about.”
Darren has been assessing the couple since Macron’s appointment and he finds something very clear and consistent from the couple’s body language.
He explained: “What is clear and consistent from the couple’s body language is that we have a very devoted, loyal couple who are supportive of one another.”
