Avengers Infinity War: Does THIS prove Doctor Strange will time travel to save the world?

Filming for the new Marvel movie and its sequel has been well underway in Atlanta, Georgia for some months now.

While much of Avengers Infinity War and Avengers 4’s plots are being kept under wraps, titbits of information have led to new insights among fan speculation.

The latest is a new casting call for extras on October 10th and 11th, with some sort of military scene planned.

Thinking of the army, Marvel fans minds may be drawn back to Captain America: The First Avenger, when the titular character fought in World War Two.

The casting call on reads: “Soldiers: Central Casting is looking for men over the age of 18, any ethnicity, to portray soldiers of various rankings.

“MUST be clean shaven and willing to receive a military haircut (high & tight). “No larger than 44 coat and 36 waist to fit provided uniform.

“You should be physically fit as moderate exercise may be required.”

Of course it could be for a scene set in present day, but according to Screen Rant, it’s rumoured that Doctor Strange will be using the Time Stone for time travel.

Perhaps he could be heading back to the 1940s to warn Cap of something? After all , despite her character Peggy Carter dying of old age in Captain America: Civil War.

This links with a previous casting call from last week asking for extras to play characters in 1960s dress.

Maybe Doctor Strange visits various times, or perhaps these are just for flashback sequences. Fans will just have to wait and see.

Avengers: Infinity War is released in UK cinemas on April 27, 2018, while Avengers 4 will follow on April 26, 2019.
