Blade Runner 2049: FIRST REACTIONS are in – what’s the verdict on sci-fi blockbuster?

Ryan Gosling and Harrison Ford star in the new sci-fi from Denis Villeneuve – and it seems anybody sceptical about the film’s existence can rest easy.

In short, the reception so far is outstanding.

“.@BladeRunner 2049 is phenomenal,” said another. “Visually mind-blowing sci-fi w/ noir roots shining through in a tight, twisty mystery. Best of 2017 so far.”

The praise kept coming as a third viewer beamed: “BLADE RUNNER 2049 is sci-fi masterpiece; the kind of deep-cut genre film we don’t see anymore. Visually mind blowing, absolutely fantastic.”
