Fast and Furious: Paul Walker’s brother Cody on potential Brian O’Conner RETURN

Back in 2013, Paul Walker tragically died in a car crash while taking a break from shooting Furious 7. Nevertheless, Vin Diesel and co teamed up with the late star’s brothers Cody and Caleb to complete his role as Brian O’Connor and give him a proper goodbye thanks to CGI. Now Fast and Furious 9 is currently shooting and with be followed by a tenth and final movie in the franchise, so could Brian return for a cameo in the latter as the ultimate tribute? Well, now Cody isn’t exactly saying no.

Speaking with Metro ahead of FuelFest UK yesterday, Cody said: “You know there’s a lot of things that are said about the franchise, there’s a lot of rumours going around.

“I think anything is possible and we’ll see what the future has in store.

“There are a lot of things that are said out there.

“There’s a rumour that the franchise might go to outer space next, so you never know… nothing is off the table, never say never.”

The Rock added: “As of now, we’re not in Fast 9 because they’re getting ready to start shooting.”

“But who knows with Fast 10 and down the road.

“You never know. Because look, at the end of the day, the truth is, there’s unfinished business between Hobbs and Dom. It’s unfinished.”

Fast and Furious 9 is set for release on May 22, 2020, while the tenth film will arrive a year later.
