Last week, Catherine Tyldesley was announced as one of the contestants to be taking on the glitter ball on Strictly Come Dancing 2019. The 35-year-old actress broke the news on This Morning to Eamon Holmes and Ruth Langsford saying she “can’t really dance”. Best known for playing Eva Price on ITV’s Coronation street, Catherine starred on the soap from 2011 to last year, following a dramatic storyline involving Shayne Ward’s Aiden Conner and their baby, Susie. The actress recently slimmed down from a size 22 to a size 10 and has been very open about sharing her fitness journey on social media.
Catherine has also given her 514,000 followers a glimpse into her family home, which she shares with her husband Tom pit ford and their four-year-old son Alfie.
In a string of posts on Instagram, the mum-of-one has invited fans into her stylish grey and white home.
In one image she shows off her chevron style wooden flooring, which she had laid earlier this year.
In another picture, posted around Christmas, Catherine shows off her cosy line area, complete with white window shutters, wooden flooring and dark grey sofas scattered with heaps of plaid, grey and white cushions.
The white and grey theme is continued throughout, with Catherine’s bedroom boasting a plush, suede headboard in a light grey colour.
The dressing room has soft grey carpet and is decorated with light grey pieces, including a studded armchair and quilted storage box, which is used as a centrepiece.
Catherine’s home includes some sentimental pieces, including a cute cartoon drawing of her family.
The image, which has the title “The Bitfields” shows a little stick figure Alfie, Catherine holding a film clapboard, and Tom lifting weights.
The garden has been lawned to perfection, and even includes an apple tree.
This summer, Catherine treated her son to a wooden climbing frame.
Sharing an image of the tot, she wrote: “Alfie’s little face was an absolute picture!! Super fast, super easy and super joyous!!! #climbingframe #playarea.”
It was recently reported that Meghan’s old LA home – which she shared with her ex-husband Trevor Engelson – had been put on sale.
The colonial-style home in Hancock Park, which the couple are believed to have lived in during their marriage, just went on the market for $1.8million, which is equivalent to £1.5million.
The Duchess of Sussex owned the spacious home, which was built in 1924, while she was married to producer Trevor between 2011 and 2013, TMZ reports.
