Flights can be rather uncomfortable – especially if plane passengers are travelling long-haul. It’s easy to understand why travellers go to lengths to make sure they can stay comfortable during the journey. However, some people’s attempts to get cosy can be infinitely odder than others. A prime example of this has been unveiled on Instagram account passengershaming in a video rapidly going viral.
A video uploaded to the Instagram account showed a female passenger in her plane seat.
The woman was not simply sitting in the seat, however, she was captured on camera performing some rather odd moves.
Filmed by the passenger sitting behind her, the female flier embarks on a series of elaborate stretches.
Clearly very flexible, the woman can be seen sticking her legs high into the air – her black heels on show.

The woman then takes hold of her feet and pulls her legs wide apart in what could be considered a rather lewd move.
Her feet can be seen either side of the plane seat as the passenger filming watched in astonishment.
According to the alarmed flier, the woman was “old” which makes her movements even more incredible.
The passenger uploaded the clip with the caption: “So confused rn with this old lady in front of me” (sic).
Instagram users have flocked to the post by passengershaming and shared their thoughts.
“Can’t decide if I’d be more ticked off or impressed!” one person commented on the video.
Others were intrigued by her attire. “Real question is is she in a skirt or pant suit?!?” one posted, while another noted: “At least she kept her shoes on.”
A few mused what her occupation could be with such a talent. “Retired gymnast. Obviously,” an Instagram user commented.
Some people, however, were less forgiving: “Why do people do this stupid s**t in planes?” one viewer wrote.
Two passengers caused an even greater stir when their plane actions went viral last week.
The pair were spotted sleeping on a plane – one stretched out across a row of seats and the other lying on the aircraft floor.
Instagram users were shocked by the image, with some claiming the traveller on the floor is female and should have been offered the seats.
“That’s gross… no way!” one person wrote. Another commented: “Absolutely no. The floor is one of the dirtiest parts.”
