Schoolboy Jacob Gallagher (played by Joe-Warren Plant) has been at the centre of one of Emmerdale’s most shocking storylines.
For months viewers have watched as Jacob has been groomed by teacher Maya Stepney (Louisa Clein) while girlfriend Liv Flaherty (Isobel Steele) has been kept in the dark on the ITV soap.
Jacob has been wracked with guilt over his sordid affair and Liv has noticed that he has been avoiding her recently.
The teenager’s behaviour has led Liv to question whether he’s still interested in her and after talking things over with friend Gabby Thomas (Rosie Bentham) she came up with a plan to get Jacob’s attention.
Liv is worried that boyfriend Jacob has gone off her ever since she told him that she wasn’t ready to have sex.

Concerned viewers will know that the real reason for Jacob’s disinterest is his secret affair with his teacher and step-father David’s (Matthew Wolfenden) girlfriend Maya.
Manipulative teacher Maya has been abusing Jacob for months and has convinced him to keep their relationship a secret despite his protests.
But in scenes aired last night it looked like Jacob had finally had enough of Maya’s games.
The teenager told Maya that he couldn’t lead a double life any longer and finished their relationship.
It looked like Jacob was free from Maya’s devious ways for good but it wasn’t long before she tried to win him back.
Jacob broke up with Maya after realising that she would never be with him in public despite the teacher explaining that she would go to prison if anyone found out about them.
But the break up didn’t last long and Maya was soon able to convince Jacob that all she needed was more time.
The sadistic teacher promised Jacob that as soon as he finishes his GCSE exams and leaves school the pair can be a proper couple.
She continued to promise that she will break up with David in tonight’s episode and urged Jacob to break up with Liv.
Concerned fans were worried that Liv might do something that she’ll later regret, especially if she finds out about Jacob’s affair with Maya.
Will she go through with it or will Jacob put an end to their relationship and finally tell her the truth?
