England Six Nations CHAOS as players erupt into mass brawl against France

Kyle Sinckler tugged at the headguard of Arthur Iturria which started a mass coming together.

Mark Wilson quickly stormed in to defend his team-mate and the majority of both teams then got involved.

The pushing and shoving caused the heavy duty advertising boards to be bundled over.

The packed-out Twickenham crowd cheered on their England rugby stars as they showed the fight which is needed if they are to be crowned Six Nations champions.

Experienced referee Nigel Owens was able to calm both camps down and allowed play to continue without any cards.

The stewards, who had to move to avoid being hit by the advertising boards, did not get involved as the 30-second coming together ended.

England were leading the match 37-8 with not even an hour played.

Jonny May starred in the dominant first-half as he scored a 29-minute hat-trick.

Henry Slade also scored his third try of the Championships to give the hosts a healthy 30-8 half-time lead over France.

Chris Ashton was awarded a penalty try after being fouled by Gael Fickou – the Frenchman was consequently yellow carded.

May came close to his fourth of the afternoon but England skipper Owen Farrell followed up to extend the lead to 44-8.

England are on course return to the top of the group, two points above Wales.

And they must be feeling confident of securing the Grand Slam after beating pre-tournament favourites Ireland in round one.

But they take on Wales in Cardiff next weekend in what many are describing as the Championship decider.

Going off this performance, it will take a lot to stop the England juggernaut.

And if they keep backing each other when the going gets dirty, it is hard to see the unbeaten run coming to an end this tournament.
