Destiny 2 Raid GUIDE: Tips and tricks for Leviathan end-game mission

Destiny 2’s Leviathan Raid is about to go live, giving fans their first real taste of the sequel’s end-game activities.

The Leviathan Raid starts at 6pm UK time, although you won’t get very far if you’re not at the required Power Level.

Little else is known about the Leviathan Raid, with Bungie telling fans not to expect any kind of preview.

“If you have witnessed the race to become the first to topple the final boss, you know we keep Raid info well under wraps,” Bungie explains.

“These are your moments to discover – your mysteries to solve. We’ve given you the when. You will soon discover the who, the what, and the where. Together, as a team, you might even discover the how.”

Other clues have suggested that Leviathan is a World Eater of some kind, and that the Raid will have a mysterious death penalty.

But while we don’t know much about the Raid itself, we do know one or two tips and tricks that will help you survive.

Check out the gallery below for Destiny 2 Leviathan Raid tips and tricks…

Assemble your clan: Until Bungie releases its new Guided Games feature, fans will have to tackle the new Raid the old fashioned way.

This means assembling a clan of six, otherwise you won’t be able to enter. You can manage your clan with the Destiny companion app, and even search for an existing clan if your friends aren’t at the right level.

Increase your power level: You won’t get far in the Leviathan Raid unless your Power Level is at the required amount.

According to Bungie’s Luke Smith: “Destiny 2’s first Raid has a Power range of 260-280.”

Variety is key:Β To successfully complete a Raid your team will need a wide variety of different character styles and sub-classes to give you the right balance.

Likewise, make sure you’ve got a wide selection of different weapons to handle all situations.

YouTube, Twitter and Facebook are your friend: If you’re racing to be one of the first clans to finish the Leviathan Raid, then you’ll need as much help as possible.

Be sure to have Destiny 2 streams running on YouTube and live social media feeds once the Raid goes live.

Stuck on a tricky puzzle? Somebody else might have already figured out the answer.

Don’t forget your headset: Good communication is key, so make sure your headset is working and there are no problems with chat.
