Tom Brady: New England Patriots quarterback opens up on LA Chargers preparation

Brady, the New England Patriots quarterback, watched the game live in the NFL Wild Card round.

The Chargers defeated the Ravens 23-17 after a lightning fast start, which saw them race to a 12-0 lead at half time.

Despite a late fightback from Lamar Jackson and the Ravens, the Chargers held on, and will now face Brady and the Patriots on Sunday.

Brady is gunning for his ninth Super Bowl, but is well aware that he will have to be at his best to get past the Chargers defensive line.

Speaking on American radio, Brady revealed how he spent his night after watching the Chargers-Ravens game.

“After that game ended, I was up watching film all night,” he said.

“That’s the way it is.

“This is the biggest week of the year for me; everything is focused on what we need to do.

“You can’t watch enough film on weeks like this.

“You can’t get enough rest.

“You can’t get enough treatment, get enough training or get enough practice.

“It’s all about what we have to do to be at our best for the biggest three hours of the season when that ball kicks off.”

Brady, 41, is no stranger to pressure, having won more Play-Off games than any other quarterback in history.

And he explained that practice and preparation is what allows him to cope with the pressure.

“I feel like I’m just really focused and I feel like I really can hone in on what I need to do,” he continued.

“Maybe that’s part of why I’m still playing at this point and part of why I’ve been able to do that.

“It just comes very naturally to me, without me having to think.”
