Celtic take on bitter rivals Rangers today, looking to improve their three-point lead atop the Scottish Premier League.
The Hoops also have a game in hand on Steven Gerrard’s side, and have not lost to Rangers in their last 15 meetings.
Christie’s visit to Ibrox will be his first in green and white, however, after previously visiting with Inverness and Aberdeen.
Saturday lunchtime’s match is the last fixture before a three-week winter break, and Christie is keen to sign off the year on a win.

Celtic headed into December with a four-point lead over Rangers, and Christie explained what their goal was heading into the month.
“At the start of December we wanted to come out of it top of the league,” Christie revealed.
“And we wanted to start to pull away from teams because obviously we want to be top from now until the end of the season.
“It’s obviously a huge game at the weekend but if we come out of it with a win, it would show how well we have done this month.”
Brendan Rodgers’ side have claimed 19 points from 24 available so far in December, and will be champing at the bit to make that 23 today.
But Gerrard has other plans, and is urging the home fans, who will be singing over just 750 travelling supporters, to have an impact.
“There’s no doubt about it, the atmosphere will be electric,” the Rangers boss asserted.
“We need our fans right behind us, we want them to push us all the way. We want them to take the roof off.”
