However, the 1996 Olympic Gold Medalist isn’t planning to compete much longer and will hang up his wrestling gear after a few matches he always wanted to have.
The six-time world champion said during a Facebook Q&A after being asked about his goals in 2019: “I think for me, some more opportunities to wrestle.
“I don’t plan on going much longer.

Angle was one of WWE’s brightest superstars during his glory days in the 2000s as he beat some of the all-time best like The Undertaker, The Rock, Stone Cold Steve Austin and many more.
The Wrestling Machine left Vince McMahon’s promotion in 2006 and spent 10 years in TNA where he won another six world titles and beat the likes of Sting, AJ Styles, Samoa Joe and many more.
The former World Heavyweight Champion rejoined WWE last year when he was inducted into the Hall of Fame by John Cena.
Angle then became the RAW General Manager and made a handful of wrestling appearances.
The most notable match of his second WWE stint took place at WrestleMania 34 when he teamed up with Ronda Rousey and defeated Stephanie McMahon as well as Triple H in a Mixed Tag Team Match.
He recently suffered a devastating loss to Drew McIntyre on RAW as the British megastar made him tap out to his signature Ankle Lock submission move.
However, Angle picked up a big win over Baron Corbin two weeks ago and ended his reign as acting RAW General Manager.
After his RAW return the ex-WWE Champion looks set to be part of WrestleMania 35 next year on April 7 at the MetLife Stadium in New York.
