Transformers Games – War For Cybertron Review

Video games enthusiasts, especially young kids, who play Transformers games opt for the latest ones which are no doubt very interesting. There are quite a few video games to choose from at any point of time and games have to be really special or else people will not play them. War For Cybertron is one of the most popular Transformers games being played. However, its best to read a review of the game before you decide to buy it.

To start with, the story upon which the game is based is a typical one of good versus evil. Even so, lots of people identify with the heroic Optimus Prime and his valiant fight against the Decepticons; not only is he very brave but he also exhibits a lot of compassion. The character of Optimus Prime is no doubt one of the main reasons for the popularity of this game and its fairly easy to see why this game is very appealing. In fact, even the leader of the Decepticons has a fair amount of respect for Optimus.

An interesting feature of this game is that it is comprized of two parts, each of which is completely different from the other. Players enjoy the fact that they can control Decepticons in one part and the Autobots in the other. Since they have different personalities, players can get the complete Transformers experience. Players also enjoy the fact that they can change into vehicles on occasion instead of always being restricted to their humanoid form. A point to be noted is that this is possible in each of the 10 levels of the game.

This is one of the flashier games on sale thanks to its high quality artwork. If you like a lot of shooting and mayhem then this game offers plenty of it. However, it has to be acknowledged that the game can get pretty repetitive after a while. As a matter of fact, it is not uncommon to hear players say that they get quite confused about what exactly is going on in the middle of battling the enemy hordes. The game is designed to last for 15 hours on average but many players have complained about boredom and fatigue setting in on account of certain parts being very monotonous. Players have also complained about the design of the game that forces them to spend a lot of time looking for ammunition and then relating the weapon.
