While Thompson came under attack from NBA pundit Shannon Sharpe, Rose sees where Thompson is coming from.

“I like his honesty and look at where Cavs, Warriors and LeBron is right now, he’s right.”
Sharpe didn’t hold back in his attack on Thompson, as he said: “You see what Klay doesn’t realise is after they won the first time [the Lakers] then won the title.
“Did they win the title? No.
“I am not going to say anything.
“When the shoe is on the other foot and LeBron chases you down 73-9 and up 3-1 and they have a little fun, now it’s a problem.
“Now Klay wants to stick his chest out.
“But even if Kevin Durant leaves I want Klay to have the same energy.
“He says that people are idiots – well he is now the overriding favourite every time you step on the court.
“This ought to be beneath Klay.”
The Warriors recorded a 129-105 victory over the Cavs last night.
