Hootie and the Blowfish tour: How to get tickets for tour of Hootie and the Blowfish

On December 3, the American rock band made an appearance on the Today Show announcing they would be releasing a new album and the “Group Therapy Tour” in 2019. The tour will commemorate the 25th anniversary of the release of Cracked Rear View, their debut studio album. The band released their last album, Looking for Lucky, in 2005 before going on hiatus in 2008.

The band decided to go on hiatus so Darius Rucker could pursue a solo career.

In addition to the tour, band members Mark Bryan, Dean Felber, Darius Rucker and Jim “Soni” Sonefeld have also signed a record deal with UMG Nashville and will release new music in 2019.

Hootie & the Blowfish said they hope to have a single out in early 2019, with an album out in the middle of the year.

The band will perform in 44 North American cities with special guest Barenaked Ladies, a Canadian rock band.
