He previously starred in ITV crime series Grantchester.

I’M A CELEBRITY 2018 LINE-UP CONFIRMED

The couple have been together for a while and have shared some sweet snaps on their Instagram profiles.

Following the news that Khan was going into the jungle, Lennon showed his support on Twitter.

“She does get hangry! Reallll hangry. Bring on the rice & beans [sic],” he joked with his 5,000 followers.

Khan has been part of ITV soap Coronation Street for four years, playing Alya Nazir.

I’M A CELEBRITY 2018 START DATE

The actress hailing from Leeds, West Yorkshire was nominated for a National Television Award in 2015 for Newcomer.

Speaking ahead of her debut into the famous jungle camp, Khan said: “There is no chance I am going to win whatsoever,”

“I don’t think it is about the winning. Just to be able to do those amazing trials is winning to me.

“This is a chance to do something different. There is no pressure on me. Afterwards, I will go back to work having had an amazing experience.”

Khan admitted that her phobias included mosquitoes and confined spaces, the latter of which could be a stumbling block during the trials.

WHERE IS I’M A CELEBRITY 2018 FILMED?

She went on to say that she found out it strange that people would be seeing her on screen as herself rather than playing a character.

Khan explained: “The weirdest thing for me is going in as myself. My character is so different to me.

“She is serious, stern and she can be uptight. I am the opposite! I am such a goof, I am always laughing, being cheeky and I don’t take myself too seriously.

“I guess people haven’t seen me and I want them to like me!

“If they don’t like her, that’s fine as it is a character but if they don’t like me, then that will be hard to take.”

I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! starts on ITV on Sunday, November 18 at 9pm
