Liverpool news: Milan Pavkov makes revelation after humiliating Jurgen Klopp’s side

slumped to a shock 2-0 defeat in their Champions League Group C encounter after a quick-fire double in the first half from Milan Pavkov.

The Reds never really recovered and it leaves them nervously looking over their shoulders with two games to go.

Pavkov’s second goal was a real beauty as he thrashed it past Alisson from distance.

And he has admitted he may have a sleepless night or two as he tries to let his big night sink in.

“I was hoping for this,” Pavkov said when asked to describe how it felt to down Jurgen Klopp’s men.

“I said earlier that I’d like to score against Liverpool and it came true. I even scored twice.

“Sleep? I won’t. I can’t sleep after some league games, let alone this one.

“Maybe not the next two or three nights.

“But I will have to sleep in the morning because we have an important game this weekend.”

Meanwhile, Klopp criticised his side for making ‘poor decisions’ in the defeat.

He said: “I saw a few games like this already and it is really difficult to find your mojo.

“We made life a bit too easy. I don’t say it is already serious if you lose twice but we have to make sure it will not not happen again.

“We had a lot of moments when we could get in control of the game and we didn’t do it, we just made the wrong decision.”

Liverpool turn their attentions back to the Premier League on Sunday when they face Fulham (midday).
