Five men aged between 19 and 55 have been arrested over the ‘offensive’ video after handing themselves into police.

A sailor who reported his new wife missing from their sinking catamaran has pleaded guilty to her manslaughter.

Lewis Bennett and Isabella Hellmann had been married for three months when she went missing off the coast of Cuba in 2017.

The court heard Bennett – a dual British-Australian national – did not search for his wife with either the catamaran or the attached dinghy, nor did he immediately activate any emergency equipment or raise the alarm.

A cigar-shaped object that flew through our solar system last year could be an alien spacecraft, researchers from Harvard University have said.

Scientists have been trying to identify the flat, 1,312ft object – named Oumuamua – since it was spotted by a telescope in Hawaii in October 2017.

They have now acknowledged that it is possible the object is of an ‘artificial origin’.
