Mate 20 Pro UK release, price and deals – The true cost of owning this device REVEALED

The new to the world at a major event in London yesterday.

This flagship device arrives packing a whole host of new features including a triple rear camera which can even take pictures underwater, incredibly fast wi-fi connection and a stunning 6.39-inch edge-to-edge display which curves around both sides of the phone.

There’s also Huawei’s new Kirin 980 processor tucked inside which offers a huge boost in performance and is far more efficient than previous chipsets.

In fact, compared to Kirin 970, the latest chipset is equipped with CPU that is up to 75 percent more powerful, GPU that is up to 46 percent more powerful and NPU that is up to 226 percent more powerful.

Besides superb performance, the Mate 20 also features groundbreaking improvement on battery life.

This new phone packs a massive high-density 4,200mAh battery which should easily last a couple of days and, when it does run flat, it supports 40W SuperCharge, which gives the device up to 70 percent charge in just 30 minutes.

Moreover, the Mate 20 Pro supports 15W HUAWEI Wireless Quick Charge, the industry’s fastest wireless charging solution, and Wireless Reverse Charge, which enables the device to work as a power bank for selected electronic devices supporting wireless charging.

Speaking about the Mate 20 Pro, Richard Yu, CEO of Huawei Consumer BG, said: “Smartphones are an important entrance to the digital world. The HUAWEI Mate 20 Series is designed to be the best ‘mate’ of consumers, accompanying and empowering them to enjoy a richer, more fulfilled life with their higher intelligence, unparalleled battery lives and powerful camera performance.”
