
HSBC has acknowledged its service is currently “experiencing problems” on its Twitter account.
The bank said: “Some customers are experiencing problems using Online Banking. We are investigating and will provide further updates.
“If your query is urgent please call us on 03 457 404 404. We are sorry for any inconvenience caused.”
HSBC has been responding to customers that have been unable to access its online functionality.
Although the bank has admitted its online banking service is not currently working, it appears HSBC’s website is also currently not working too.

A number of customers have taken to Twitter to question why they are unable to access the bank’s site.
One said: “HSBC UK is your website down? I cannot load the page.”
Another posted: “HSBC website is completely down – it has been down for at least 30 minutes.
“I called the customer service team and they were not even aware of this.
“I hope this is being fixed ASAP!”
A third declared: “I can’t access banking.
“Frustrating when time is limited! Not very professional.”
Independent outage monitor Down Detector registered over 350 reports at one time from customers insisting HSBC’s services were not working as they should.
