Renault is currently developing the next generation electric Zoe.
The current Zoe is a popular proposition for motorists making the with to elected vehicles with the relatively low price and a decent range of around 186 miles
Prices for the current car start at £18,420 (OTR) after the Government Plug-in Car Grant, with monthly battery leasing costs.
A ‘full purchase’ model starts from £24,020 (OTR) after the Government Plug-in Car Grant.
Reportedly the next generation car will get up to 250-miles of real-world range, over 60 miles more than the current model.

The platform allows you to display contact information, social media links, services, and products all in one shareable link. Optional features include appointment scheduling, WhatsApp-based storefronts, media galleries, and custom design options.
To achieve this the car will have a slightly larger battery to be able to achieve the significant bump in achievable real-world range.
The car will also be built on the bespoke EV platform that is shared across the Renault-Nissan-Mitsubishi alliance, opposed to sharing the new Nissan Leaf platform.
No word has been made on whether or not power will increase for the new car or exact range figures at the moment.
The car is slated to launch towards the end of 2019 or at the beginning of 2020.
Spy shots of the car’s testing have emerged showing the car under heavy camouflage the car’s seemingly updated exterior and interior.
Renault has not yet confirmed the price of the new car but the firm is likely to want to keep costs at a similar level to what they are at the moment.
