PSN Status: PlayStation Network down, leaving fans unable to connect to Destiny 2 servers

The PSN server status doesn’t make good reading for PS4 users right now.

The PlayStation Network is experiencing server issues, which has taken .

It was originally thought to be an issue at Bungie, but Sony has since acknowledged that the problem is with PSN.

The PSN server status page says: “You may have some difficulty launching games, applications or online features. Our engineers are working to resolve the issue as soon as possible, and we thank you for your patience.”

Likewise, a PlayStation tweet reads: “We are aware that some PS4 users have reported issues accessing PSN tonight. Thanks for your patience as we investigate.”

In fact, based on the , Destiny 2 is more of the same, only bigger, better and with a greater emphasis on storytelling.

But the Destiny 2 launch hasn’t been completely without issues.

Bungie is attempting to fix a number of problems, including PS4 Pro crashes, error codes and Xbox access issues.

Cabbage Errors: We are investigating player reports of CABBAGE error codes.

PS4 Pro Crashes: We are aware of reports of some PS4 Pro players encountering crashes and are working with our partners to investigate the issue.

Xbox Displayed Release Date: While the Xbox Dashboard may be displaying the wrong date, Destiny 2 will become available September 6, 2017. If you experience any issues accessing Destiny 2 licenses on September 6, you may need to contact Xbox Support for assistance.
