Arsenal team news: Predicted Arsenal line up vs Fulham – Aubameyang doubt, Mkhitaryan back

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang is a doubt for Arsenal’s latest Premier League fixture against Fulham after being taken ill during the week.

The Gabon international did not travel with the rest of the Gunners squad for their Europa League clash against Qarabag, instead remaining in London as he targets a return against the Cottagers.

However, Aubameyang may not be risked by manager Unai Emery with Alexandre Lacazette, Danny Welbeck and Alex Iwobi all available in attacking roles.

is also an option should Aubameyang remain sidelined, with the winger missing the 3-0 victory in Baku due to a diplomatic bust-up between his native Armenia and Azerbaijan.

The midweek rest ensures that Mkhitaryan is most likely to return on the left-wing if Aubameyang is not fit, with Lacazette expected to continue in a lone striker role.

Meanwhile, Aaron Ramsey is also doubtful after the Welshman was left in London for the Europa League tie.

The 27-year-old opted to stay home with his pregnant wife Colleen, who is expecting twins in the near future.

It is unclear whether Ramsey, who could be heading for the exit door in January after , will be available to face Fulham.

Elsewhere, Bernd Leno will continue in goal as Petr Cech struggles with a hamstring injury and Shkodran Mustafi should return at centre-back after being rested against Qarabag.

The German is expected to line up alongside Sokratis Papastathopoulos, although Rob Holding was preferred last time out against Watford.

Granit Xhaka and Lucas Torreira should anchor the midfield after being rested in midweek while and Hector Bellerin are likely to earn recalls.

The likes of Mohamed Elneny, Matteo Guendouzi and Sead Kolasinac should all drop to the bench if Emery reverts to his usual 4-2-3-1, with Iwobi and Emile Smith-Rowe also missing out.
