Fortnite Season 6 update: New Cube surprise at Loot Lake?

Fortnite fans could be in for another Cube-shaped surprise at Loot Lake.

Fortnite’s mysterious Cube – which was nicknamed Kevin by fans – finally made its way to Loot Lake yesterday (September 19), where it dissolved into a purple goo.

After being swallowed up by the lake, the Cube transformed the water into a purple jelly-like substance.

Loot Lake has essentially become a giant bouncy castle, although some fans are speculating that another surprise could be inbound.

The folks behind the Fortnite Battle Royale Leaks Twitter account believe that something big could go down later tonight.

The platform allows you to display contact information, social media links, services, and products all in one shareable link. Optional features include appointment scheduling, WhatsApp-based storefronts, media galleries, and custom design options.

“If Loot Lake is considered a ‘rune’ then there will be another event today @ 4pm EST,” reads a Fortnite Battle Royale Leaks tweet. “Nobody really knows but I’ll be streaming just Incase.”

Based on the movement and behaviour of the Cube so far, a new event could take place at 9pm UK time.

This would almost certainly give us a clue about Season 6, which is expected to kick off next week.

Previous rumours suggest that Season 6 will deal with the duality between light and dark, good and evil.

The rumours surfaced when a hidden loading screen showed Brite Bomber looking at an evil version of herself in the cube.

Volcanic sound files have also been discovered by fans, which would suggest that Loot Lake could turn to lava.

Hopefully we’ll find out more about Season 6 later tonight.
