Το God of War (κοινώς αναφερόμενο ως God of War 4 ή God of War PS4) είναι ένα τρίτου προσώπου παιχνίδι δράσης-περιπέτειας που αναπτύχθηκε από το Santa Monica Studio και δημοσιεύτηκε από τη Sony Interactive Entertainment (SIE). Κυκλοφόρησε στις 20 Απριλίου 2018 για την κονσόλα PlayStation 4 (PS4). Είναι η όγδοη δόση στη σειρά God of War, και η συνέχεια του θεού του πολέμου ΙΙΙ του 2010. Η ιστορία είναι μια νέα κατεύθυνση για τη σειρά, καθώς βασίζεται χαλαρά στη νορβηγική μυθολογία – όλα τα προηγούμενα παιχνίδια βασίστηκαν στην ελληνική μυθολογία.
Ο πρωταγωνιστής της σειράς Kratos επιστρέφει ως κύριος χαρακτήρας και τώρα έχει ένα γιο που ονομάζεται Atreus. Ο Κράτος ενεργεί ως μέντορας και προστάτης του γιου του και πρέπει να κυριαρχήσει την οργή που τον οδήγησε για πολλά χρόνια.
