Fortnite Season 5 includes the chance for fans to complete extra challenges that unlock even more opportunities for players willing to go the extra mile in Fortnite Battle Royale.
For those who might have missed the announcement, hidden tasks are back for season 5, with players able to discover secret battle stars.
This is done by finishing all of the weekly challenges offered by Epic Games, meaning everything that is on the Week 6 challenge list.
This includes a total of seven tasks that were launched on Thursday, August 16.
By finishing all of the week 6 challenges, Fortnite fans will unlock a new loading screen, complete with clues.

The reward for following them includes unlocking a bonus battle star, which can be found in a special location.
It also makes it a little bit easier to complete those season 5 tiers that end with some top skins and rewards.
These are officially called Road Trip challenges in season 5, and they take over from the old Blockbuster challenges found in season 4.
And like the Blockbusters of old, Epic Games will reward fans with a secret skin that can only be unlocked through completing all of the Road Trip.
This outfit remains hidden for now, but fans will be able to unlock it later in season 5.
But grabbing the exclusive prize won’t be easy, as it means unlocking every secret battle star, every week.
There are seven in total and will require that you have the new battle pass, which costs 950 V-Bucks.
SECRET BATTLE STARS WEEK 6
As mentioned above, the Fortnite secret battle star can only be unlocked in week 6 by completing all seven of the challenges set by Epic Games.
That means you will need a battle pass and the free time to complete what is currently available.
Week 6 challenges include completing timed trials around the island, as well as searching for where Stone Heads are looking.
Completing these along with the other elimination and location-based tasks will unlock a new loading screen that gives you the right location for the secret battle star.
The week 6 loading screen features Fortnite characters enjoying a movie together at the cinema.
The location in question is Risky Reels, which can be found at the map coordinates H2, east of Lazy Links and northwest of Wailing Woods.
But as the loading screen clearly shows, there’s no secret battle star on the big screen.
Instead, fans can find it in the back of the red pickup truck seen in the parking in front of it.
It should be noted that if you can’t see the battle star, it’s because you haven’t completed the full challenge list.
Epic Games have warned that the hidden star won’t appear until you have finished everything else required.
And that’s also the same for those who don’t have a battle pass and are just completing the free challenges.
